Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and most major credit and debit cards.

Please note that placing an order online, paying and receiving an order confirmation from us is recognition of you placing your order with us. It does not constitute a legally binding contract until we have completely reviewed the Credit and Payment Status indicators which we receive from our Banks and Payment Providers and accept or reject the order. We reserve the right to reject any order before despatch.


Privacy & Security

We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We do not store any customers financial or credit card details in any form. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals. At the stage when you enter your credit card details, you will be passed on to a Secure Order Processing page hosted by Sage Pay & Paypal. We do not collect any card details from you directly. This also applies to any card detail given to us when making a telephone purchase. Our company 'The Tandoor Clay Oven Limited' (UK) & Puri Tandoors Ltd (Canada & USA ) takes full responsibility for transactions processed on our web site.


Delivery time for UK & EU standard shipping (in business days):

UK: 2-3 days, Europe: 4-5 days

Note for UK customers only: For an order to qualify for next day delivery, we must receive your order before 11am, next day delivery is available only for mainland UK deliveries. Orders after 11am will be processed for a next day delivery on the following day.

Next day deliveries cannot be guaranteed during Xmas and other bank holidays

Please note: We use various transport companies to deliver your goods. We will do our best to honour next day and Saturday deliveries but on some occasions transport companies have let us down. If this happens, we will either refund the extra money that you paid for the special service and deliver goods on standard service OR you may choose to cancel your order for full refund. We as a company shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery service.

Our warehouse will be closed from Dec 21st to Jan 1st and all order received during this period will be disaptched on the next business day after Jan 1st 

To complete your order, we may send multiple parcels which will all come together unless specified. Kindly inform us of any missing parcels by either calling us or filling out 'Contact Us' form under Customer services section on our web site. 

Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands (post codes IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 Sector 4 and PH49-50*) doesn't come under UK Mainland delivery category.

Delivery Information for USA & Canada 

Delivery time for standard shipping (in business days):

USA - East Coast: 2-4 days, Midwest/South east : 4-5 days, Rest of mainland USA : 6-7 days

Canada - GTA: 2-3 days, Rest of Canada : 4-7 days

Delivery time: Delivery will be on weekdays between 8am to 5pm.We use various delivery companies for deliveries depending on the destination location.You will either get a call a day before delivery to book an appointment for delivery or a call an hour before delivery depending on the location and the policies of the delivery company. Please make sure to be there to receive the shipment otherwise there will be extra charges for the 2nd delivery attempt.

Please note: If the delivery company does not show up for delivery on a particular day after fixing an appointment for delivery due to reasons beyond their control, we as a company shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery service.

Delivery Insurance: Please inspect the pallet on arrival for any exterior damages to the packing and sign for it as damaged if you notice any signs of damage. To complete your order we may send multiple parcels which will all come together unless specified. An email will be sent with tracking details stating the number of parcels and handling units that have been dispatched. Please count the number of parcels and then sign the delivery receipt making note of missing parcels if any, failing to do so will invalidate your delivery insurance.

After the driver leaves the pallet can be opened and inspected completely and let us know if there is of any damage within 48 hours as the delivery insurance for inside damages is valid only for 48 hours after delivery, failing to do so will invalidate your delivery insurance.

 Please be advised that hairline / minor cracks and fissures are normal for any clay oven and should not be considered as a damaged clay oven.

Delivery Terms

  1. Aborted delivery: It is the customers responsibility to ensure all items will fit onto the premises, please check all door dimensions to ensure the product will fit onto site. Any charges caused by an aborted delivery due to this will be passed onto the customer.
  2. Delivery address change: We will only delivery to the shipping address mentioned in your online order. Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, any changes in the delivery address will incur additional charges.
  3. Curb Side Delivery: Please note that the standard delivery is curb side delivery only with a lift gate truck, inside the premise’s delivery is not provided. 
  1. Delivery of your goods: The delivery of goods requires customer signature, if there is If there is no one to sign for the goods our courier company will re-scheduled the delivery for following day.
  2. Delivery Insurance: Your parcel(s) are insured for any loss or damage whilst in transit. Please inform us of any damages or any missing parcels on the day of delivery by 7PM so that we can lodge a claim with the delivery insurance company, failing to do so will invalidate your delivery insurance.
